Before accepting a project, we confirm the platform, page inventory, content owner, forms, access, budget and acceptance criteria. WordPress and editable static/Astro sites are the established implementation fit. Other platforms and specialist integrations require a capability review.
Turn discovery into testable acceptance.
Document representative products, variants, stock rules, delivery regions and return requirements. Confirm the proposed platform and provider capabilities before accepting a build. The eventual scope must assign checkout, tax and shipping setup, authorized end-to-end tests and operating ownership. Discovery alone does not mean a store or integration is ready.
Store accounts and operating responsibility.
Hosting, domain, CMS and business accounts stay under your control. We agree handover documentation and any maintenance arrangement explicitly. Third-party licenses, hosting, paid assets and external services need prior approval; ongoing support is not silently bundled into a build.

The $99 monthly subscription excludes full rebuilds, major migrations and custom engineering. A website enquiry is a scope conversation, not acceptance of an unlimited development service or a fixed-price package.

Will you configure payment and tax during discovery?
No. Discovery identifies providers, requirements and responsible owners. Configuration, credentials, specialist review and authorized testing require a separately agreed implementation scope.
Can we get a fixed quote from a product count?
Product count alone misses variants, imports, stock, shipping, tax, returns and integrations. Those dependencies must be understood before the build is priced or accepted.
