What this can and cannot tell you.
English-only heuristic; names, abbreviations, technical terms and short text reduce reliability. It does not assess factual accuracy, accessibility compliance or writing quality.
How it works.
Flesch reading ease = 206.835 − 1.015 × words/sentences − 84.6 × estimated syllables/word. Flesch–Kincaid grade uses 0.39 × words/sentences + 11.8 × syllables/word − 15.59. Grade is floored at zero. Hard-sentence flags use length alone.
Review the highlighted sentences with a human. A lower grade does not establish expertise or factual accuracy. Read the content review guide for the next check.
