Redirect Map Planner
Validate an old/new URL CSV for duplicate sources, self redirects, loops and chains.
After this page loads, calculations work offline. Inputs are not uploaded or saved. Copy and download happen only when you choose them.
Your output.
Example loaded. Edit an input to update the result.
What this can and cannot tell you.
Planning only. Does not fetch URLs, apply redirects, verify a host or generate production server rules. Mix relative/absolute URLs carefully; equivalent host forms are not inferred.
How it works.
Use old_url,new_url columns with root-relative paths or absolute HTTP(S) URLs. Duplicate source paths, self redirects and exact-string loops are errors. Chains receive warnings. Export a review sheet and have the actual hosting rules implemented and tested separately.
Keep each source and its nearest useful destination together. This CSV checks a plan; a developer must implement and test the actual host rules. Read the migration QA checklist for the next check.
Try the example.
The example loads automatically. Edit or import the CSV, then choose Run tool. Filters and sorting update a valid result locally. Invalid inputs show an explanation and cannot be exported as a successful result. Copy includes the readable result; download provides the output file.
Turn the output into a useful decision.
A local tool does not replace context, review or implementation.
